This is my most personal wedding yet, not only was I given the chance to photograph one my oldest & best friends but Isobel was a flower girl (she is the one who is acting up during photo time!) After accidentally flashing Sharon during the ceremony, I'll never wear a kilt to shoot a wedding again, but it was worth it, you have to ceilidh in a kilt!
Dani & Mikey were married in early August on Rialto Beach in the Olympic Peninsula. The skies were hazed over from wildfires to the north which added some extra drama to the already beautiful location. Lots of thoughtful homemade extras, including Dani's dress made the day incredibly personal & unique.
Football (soccer) is pretty much my favorite thing to play/watch or do anything with so getting so shoot the wedding of two people who are just as much into it as I am was a real treat. The day itself was beautiful, with the most amazing light at dusk when we rushed of out into the fields for a few photos before getting back to the important business of partying.
I am struggling to find the words to describe how amazing Sarah & Brett's wedding was on Cinco De Mayo at Swiftwater Cellars so I keep thinking, procrastinating & bidding on old cameras on eBay. I have eventually decided I am going let the pictures speak for themselves (there are donkeys!) and let you know that the officiant (Sarah's aunt) was later found smoking cigars & drinks shots out of a ice donkey sculpture, it was that kind of awesome party. More Cinco De Mayo weddings please.
